Dear Friend of the GCRG,

 
After a successful pre-season of hard work and excruciating play, The GCRG are in search of sponsors for our upcoming 2011 season. We have been training exceptionally hard for our audience’s entertainment and enjoyment. With many practices and guest skating apperanceson both the flat and banked track under our belt to help bring back the Derby era, we are asking for your help. So don’t miss out on all the opportunities for exposure with our Inter and Intra League Women’s bouts.

Our Goal is to establish lasting relationships with businesses and bring together friends and families. Our ladies and gentlemen also give back to the community by donating to our local charities. But, with needing much help financially with the cost of producing bouts, practice time on the rink, uniforms, advertising, buying equipment, and even insurance, any little bit may benefit us. We are looking to give our sponsors maximum exposure in a hard to reach market. Sponsors will have the opportunity to gain exposure at several GCRG functions such as practice, bouts, charity events and all other events the league is involved in. Our sponsors will receive many benefits with their donations. For example, your web-ads will be on our Official GCRG web-site (currently being reformatted), complimentary Bout tickets, special recognition at our bouts such as advertising in our bout program, banner display at the bout and announcements of your business during bout. Depending on the level of donation, you as sponsors can receive additional gifts. If you donate equipment/ Merchandise or provide services, your level will be assigned based on retail value of the donation provided. The Gulf Coast Rollergirls, Lake Charles's premiere all Female Flat & Banked Track Roller Derby League was formed in August of 2009. The Flat Track teams are comprised of the Travel Team, The Lafitte's Ladies, The Home Team, The Mission UnBlockables, &  our newest addition in Lufkin,Tx, The Typhoid Betties, additionally in Lake Charles, we have the Banked Track team, The Swamp Zombies.

The Ladies are committed to enduring grueling training to prepare for the 2012 season. The league promises their audience a high octane match with a shot of pin-up girl and a twist of feminism, and all rock'n roll can do attitude.

Our league internally has many jobs including: events, merchandise, communication, recruiting, and sports management. We do this in addition to our day jobs. It takes a lot of time and commitment. Do we get paid? Not even a dime.We even pay to play! All people contributing to GCRG do this as a community volunteer effort. Skaters must pay monthly dues for helping with the operational costs of the rink, bouts, and practices. All profits generated from fund-raisers, tickets, merchandise sales, sponsorships, and other sources are invested into the league. Running the show requires not only effort from the skaters, but several dedicated volunteers working together to help put on bouts, public events and other operations.

Adopt-a-Pirate ($50)
The sponsor is mentioned in our Friends and Family section
in one bout program. The sponsor will also receive 2 tickets to a home bout.

The Pivot ($100) T

the sponsor receives a line ad in our program for the bout of their choice. The sponsor will receive 2 tickets to a home bout and a GCRG merchandise
pack.

The Blocker ($250)
The sponsor receives a 1/4 page ad in our bout program. The sponsor
may also donate merchandise to be given away during bouts. The sponsor will
receive 4 tickets to a home bout of their choice and a GCRG merchandise pack.

The Jammer ($500)
“The Jammer” is our most popular package allowing the sponsor to receive a 1/2 page ad in our bout programs for the season. It will also include 2 VIP passes to all home bouts which includes a Meet-N-Greet and picture with the Team.  The sponsor can set up a table at one bout with promotional material. The company can display a small sized banner (5’ x 3’) at all bouts. The sponsor may donate merchandise to be given away at bouts. The name of the company will be mentioned at each bout and will have a link to their website on our official website. The sponsor will receive a commemorative league photo and a GCRG merchandise pack.

Adopt-a-Team ($1,000)
The sponsor receives a 1/2 page ad in our bout programs for
the season. It will also include 4 VIP passes to all home bouts which includes a
Meet-N-Greet and picture with the Team. The sponsor can set up a table at one bout with promotional material. The company can display a large sized banner (8’ x 3’) at all bouts. The sponsor may donate merchandise to be given away at bouts. The name of the company will be mentioned at each bout. The sponsor will have a link to their website on our website. The sponsor will also receive a commemorative league photo and a GCRG merchandise pack.

The Pack ($2,500)

The sponsor receives a full page ad in our bout programs for
the season. It will also include 6 VIP passes to all home bouts which includes a
Meet-N-Greet and picture with the Team. The sponsor can set up a table at one bout with promotional material. The company can display 2 large sized banners (12’ x 3’) at all bouts. The sponsor may donate merchandise to be given away at bouts. The name of the company will be mentioned several times at each bout. The sponsor will have a link to their website on our website. The sponsor will receive a commemorative league photo and a GCRG merchandise pack.

The Ankle-Breaker ($5,000)
The sponsor receives a full page ad in our bout programs for the season. It will also include 8 VIP passes to all home bouts which includes a
Meet-N-Greet and picture with the Team. One bout of the regular season will be
named in honor of the sponsor. The sponsor may have the Team appear at a company function of their choice for a time of up to 6 hours. The sponsor can set up a table at one bout with promotional material. The company can display 4 large sized banners (12’ x 3’) at all bouts. The sponsor may donate merchandise to be given away at bouts. The name of the company will be mentioned several times at each bout. The sponsor will have a link to their website on our website. The sponsor will receive a commemorative league photo and a GCRG merchandise pack.

Other Sponsorship Opportunities

We at Gulf Coast Roller Girls are always open to ideas that you the sponsor may have or other types of donations you can provide. Bout productions
include building costs, insurance, sound/lighting/scoreboard software, water
coolers, etc., as well as uniforms, skating gear, coaching fees, web hosting fees, fliers, posters, brochures, etc, etc, etc….. You name it, we need it.

*GCRG merchandise pack includes 2 shirts, and GCRG Koozies or Bandannas and 4 stickers & 4 Buttons

**VIP pass includes free entrance to home bouts and a meet-n-greet and picture with the team.

***Sponsors provide banners for events. Pick up of materials/ banners will be scheduled the week prior to the event.

****Sponsors provide materials and staff for bout booths. GCRG will supply a table with prior knowledge.

*****All sponsorships and associated benefits are for one season only.
